This page provides general definitions of capitalised terms used throughout AI Meta Markets ("AIMM")'s website, Commercial Intelligence Framework, governance documents and related commercial documentation.
Unless the context otherwise requires, the following definitions apply.
GENERAL INTERPRETATION
Unless the context indicates otherwise:
words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa;
references to one gender include all genders;
headings are included for convenience only and do not affect interpretation;
references to "including" or "includes" mean "including without limitation";
references to legislation include any amendment, replacement or re-enactment of that legislation where applicable.
Nothing contained within this page limits AIMM's ability to update, modify or replace its terminology, documentation or governance framework.

DEFINED TERMS

AIMM
AIMM means AI Meta Markets and includes its business operations, Commercial Intelligence Services and associated activities.
Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence (AI) means computational systems, machine learning models, large language models, automation technologies and related analytical tools used to support AIMM's internal research, information processing and document preparation.
Client
Client means any individual, company, organisation or other legal entity that receives, requests or contracts for Commercial Intelligence Services from AIMM.
Commercial Intelligence
Commercial Intelligence means information, research, analysis, observations, datasets, documentation and related material compiled or organised by AIMM concerning commercial opportunities, procurement activities or markets.
Commercial Intelligence Deliverable
Commercial Intelligence Deliverable means any document, report, dossier, dataset, analytical summary, presentation, communication or other information product prepared or supplied by AIMM.
Commercial Intelligence Dossier
Commercial Intelligence Dossier means AIMM's structured Commercial Intelligence Deliverable relating to a particular commercial opportunity and may include analytical information, source documentation and supporting material selected by AIMM.
Commercial Intelligence Framework
Commercial Intelligence Framework means AIMM's published framework describing the general commercial structure under which Commercial Intelligence Services may be provided.
Commercial Intelligence Licence
Commercial Intelligence Licence means the terms governing the authorised use of Commercial Intelligence Deliverables and related intellectual property supplied by AIMM.
Commercial Intelligence Rider
Commercial Intelligence Rider means a transaction-specific commercial document issued by AIMM which may specify the commercial terms applicable to a particular Commercial Intelligence Deliverable or commercial opportunity.
Commercial Intelligence Services
Commercial Intelligence Services means the research, analytical, organisational and information services provided by AIMM.
Commercial Opportunity
Commercial Opportunity means a procurement opportunity, tender, request for proposal, commercial enquiry or other business opportunity identified or analysed by AIMM.
Commercial Relationship
Commercial Relationship means any existing or proposed business relationship between AIMM and a Client.
Deliverable
Deliverable means any Commercial Intelligence Deliverable supplied by AIMM.
Governance Framework
Governance Framework means AIMM's collection of governance documents, policies, standards and related documentation describing AIMM's governance approach.
Information
Information includes data, documents, records, publications, communications, datasets, analytical observations and other material regardless of format.
Master Agreement
Master Agreement means AIMM's principal contractual framework governing an ongoing Commercial Relationship and may incorporate confidentiality, non-circumvention, commercial fee and other contractual provisions.
At the date of publication of this website, AIMM's standard onboarding agreement is the Master Commercial Intelligence, Non-Circumvention, Confidentiality & Fee Framework Agreement (M-CI NCNDA & IFFA), which incorporates traditional Non-Circumvention, Non-Disclosure and Intermediary Fee Framework (NCNDA & IFFA) principles within AIMM's broader Commercial Intelligence Framework.
AIMM may adopt, amend or replace its standard onboarding documentation from time to time.
Methodology
Methodology means the research processes, analytical techniques, workflows, software tools, Artificial Intelligence systems and related procedures selected by AIMM in preparing Commercial Intelligence Deliverables.
Recipient
Recipient means any person or entity receiving or accessing a Commercial Intelligence Deliverable, whether directly or indirectly.
Redacted Lead Intelligence Document
Redacted Lead Intelligence Document means a preliminary Commercial Intelligence Deliverable in which selected identifying information has been withheld or replaced with coded references at AIMM's discretion.
Research
Research means information gathering, organisation, review, analysis and related activities undertaken by AIMM using methodologies selected by AIMM.
Source Documentation
Source Documentation means documentation, publications or other source materials identified or selected by AIMM relating to a Commercial Opportunity.
The inclusion of Source Documentation does not constitute certification, endorsement or verification of its contents.
Third-Party Information
Third-Party Information means information originating from persons, organisations, publications, databases or other sources outside AIMM's direct control.
Website
Website means AIMM's publicly accessible online presence together with associated webpages, documentation and published materials.

USE OF DEFINED TERMS
These definitions are intended to promote consistency throughout AIMM's website, Commercial Intelligence Framework, governance documentation and related commercial materials.
The use of a defined term does not, by itself, create any contractual right, obligation or representation.
Where a written agreement expressly defines a term differently, the definition contained within that written agreement shall apply for the purposes of that agreement.
