Responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in the preparation of AIMM Commercial Intelligence Deliverables.
1. INTRODUCTION
AI Meta Markets ("AIMM", "we", "our" or "us") recognises that Artificial Intelligence ("AI") technologies can assist in improving research efficiency, information organisation and document preparation.
This AI Use Policy describes the principles governing AIMM's use of AI technologies in support of its Commercial Intelligence activities.
AI is used as a research and productivity tool. Responsibility for AIMM's business activities, Commercial Intelligence Deliverables and commercial decisions remains with AIMM.
2. PURPOSE
The purpose of this Policy is to:
promote the responsible use of AI;
support information security and confidentiality;
reduce the risk of inappropriate reliance upon AI-generated material;
maintain appropriate human oversight;
encourage responsible innovation; and
support AIMM's commitment to professional and ethical business practices.
3. SCOPE
This Policy applies to AI technologies used by AIMM in connection with:
commercial research;
information organisation;
document drafting;
language assistance;
data summarisation;
workflow automation; and
internal operational support.
The Policy applies irrespective of whether AI services are developed internally or supplied by third parties.
4. PRINCIPLES
AIMM seeks to use AI in accordance with the following principles:
lawful use;
responsible human oversight;
protection of confidential information;
proportionality;
transparency regarding the role of AI where appropriate;
continual review and improvement.
5. HUMAN OVERSIGHT
AI technologies assist AIMM's research and drafting processes but do not replace human judgement.
Commercial Intelligence Deliverables are reviewed by AIMM before release.
AIMM remains responsible for determining:
whether information is included;
the form of presentation;
the scope of any Commercial Intelligence Deliverable; and
whether a Commercial Intelligence Deliverable will be issued.
The use of AI does not transfer responsibility for AIMM's work to any AI provider.
6. APPROVED AI TECHNOLOGIES
AIMM may use AI technologies that it considers appropriate for its business operations.
The selection, replacement or discontinuation of AI technologies is determined by AIMM.
Where appropriate, AIMM may restrict the use of particular AI tools where they do not meet AIMM's operational, security or business requirements.
7. INFORMATION SECURITY
AIMM seeks to protect confidential information when using AI technologies.
Where reasonably practicable, AIMM seeks to avoid submitting confidential information to public AI systems where doing so would be inconsistent with applicable contractual, legal or confidentiality obligations.
Information submitted to AI technologies is managed in accordance with AIMM's internal procedures and applicable legal obligations.
8. DATA QUALITY
AI-generated material may contain inaccuracies, omissions or outdated information.
Accordingly:
AI outputs may be reviewed, edited or rejected by AIMM;
AI-generated content is not treated as automatically accurate;
additional research or verification may be undertaken where AIMM considers it appropriate.
The extent of any review or verification remains a matter for AIMM.
9. RISK-BASED USE
AIMM seeks to apply a proportionate approach to the use of AI.
The degree of review applied to AI-assisted work may vary depending upon factors including:
the nature of the information;
the intended purpose of the Commercial Intelligence Deliverable;
confidentiality considerations;
operational requirements; and
any legal or regulatory obligations applicable to AIMM.
10. CONFIDENTIALITY
AI technologies must not be used in a manner that intentionally compromises confidential information, intellectual property or information protected by contractual or legal obligations.
Where AIMM receives confidential information from clients or third parties, AIMM seeks to handle that information responsibly and in accordance with applicable obligations.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The use of AI technologies does not affect AIMM's ownership of its:
methodologies;
research processes;
Commercial Intelligence Deliverables;
document structures;
proprietary databases;
software;
branding;
intellectual property rights.
AI-assisted drafting does not transfer ownership of AIMM's work product to any AI service provider.
12. PROHIBITED USES
AIMM seeks to avoid using AI technologies:
to impersonate individuals or organisations;
to generate knowingly false or misleading commercial information;
to circumvent applicable law;
to infringe intellectual property rights;
to facilitate unlawful activity; or
in any manner inconsistent with AIMM's legal or contractual obligations.
13. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
AI technologies continue to evolve.
AIMM may review and update its AI-related procedures, technologies and governance arrangements from time to time in order to support responsible business operations.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
AIMM may amend this AI Use Policy at any time.
The version published on this website supersedes previous versions from the date of publication.
